One of the main tourist attractions of Paracas are the Ballestas islands, a group of small islands at the Paracas National Reserve in Ica, Perú. Famed for its spectacular variety of birds and sealife, soaring cliffs, rocky beaches, and remote sea caves. Although not allowed to land in the area, the boats pass close enough to the birds and animals that are in the islands.
